Page 1 of 7 Conformed to the image of The Lord Jesus Christ (PART 1)"For whom He (God the Father) did foreknow (the Royal Family of God), He (the Father) also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son (the Lord Jesus Christ), that He (the Son) might be the firstborn among many brethren (the church universal, i.e. the mystical body of Christ, all of the redeemed from the dispensation of the Grace of God the Father which is the dispensation of the Royal Family of God)." Romans 8:29 KJV (added for explanation) The English word "conformed" is a translation from the original Greek text of the word "summorphous", which is the accusative masculine plural of summorphos. The word signifies to have the same form as another. In the dispensation of Alpha (eternity past), the Father issued His eternal grace protocol plan of the ages and He made the Lord Jesus Christ the focal point of this plan (see Eph. 1:9-10, 3:9-11 c.f. Col. 1:26 with II Tim. 1:9). The Son humbled Himself and left heaven and became the God-Man and accomplished the work the Father gave to Him (see Phil. 2:6-8). The Son, in His glorified eternal hypostatic resurrection body, has been given by the Father the highest place of honor and is the only true celebrity of the ages (see Heb. 1 with Phil. 2:9-11). It is the will of the Father that every person saved in the dispensation of the Royal Family of God (Pentecost to the Rapture) be conformed to the image of His Son, (the Lord Jesus Christ). "Moreover whom He (the Father) did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified." Romans 8:30 KJV At the moment of salvation, the Father gave us positional glorification and glorified our human spirits. The glorification of the human spirit was typified, when Moses and Elijah appeared in a glorified pre-resurrection form with Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration (see Lu. 9:29-31). In our future resurrection bodies, the Father will glorify us with the glory He has given Christ because Christ has asked Him to do this for us. (see I Pet. 1:21 with John 17:22).
